Marion Bergin

Educated in History of Art, Marion spent the formative years of her career running her own London based fashion label. Now working as a filmmaker/photographer and creative director she creates work with a highly expressive and emotive style of storytelling. She shapes work to inspire, move and connect, believing in the power of visual culture to break down barriers and bring us closer together. With a style at the intersection of art, fashion and documentary, she crafts her work that is both visually engaging and emotionally compelling. Her interdisciplinary work sees her shift shape between documentary, commercials and music videos as well as art, fashion, documentary and fine art photography, the common thread being the universal language of beauty. She’s picked up several awards along the way including the prestigious Gold Shark for Best Documentary Short at the Kinsale Shark Awards, been shortlisted two years in a row in the YDA’s Cannes and has just premiered an immersive art film SWIMirl at the Hong Kong Architecture Biennale.
